Fees

The cost of a full ADI training course is £1500 inclusive of all recommended books. You have a choice of either paying in advance for each part of the course as detailed below or pay for the course in full at the start.

PART 1 – Fee £200

You must complete a systematic and structured home study course. You will learn the essential driving and teaching theory prior to moving on to the practical phases of your course (part 2 & 3).

You will receive a home study pack containing DSA recommended books, study guide and question books. You must work through the guide methodically. Your Fifth Gear tutor will offer advice when you meet periodically for practical training sessions.

PART 2 – fee £300

You will carry out five 2 hour driving sessions in preparation for the Part 2 driving test.

PART 3 – fee £1000

Consists of 35 hours in car training (all 1:1 with your Fifth Gear trainer in-car) to be completed to prepare you for the Part 3 test. You will receive further instructional material.

Exam fees - Part 1 - £80 Part 2 - £99 Part 3 - £99.

Registration fee - £300 upon qualifying and every 4 years thereafter.

Exam and Registration fees are in addition to fees charged by Fifth Gear and are payable direct to DSA
